Greetings, my name is Pedro Filipe Vasconcelos and I'm a Film Student from DeMontfort University (DMU) in Leicester, an aspiring Film Maker.
Allusion Production is my Independent Production Company that conglomerates all my projects, from my Youtube Channel Few where I post a multitude of content like short films, video essays, and more, to my podcast, screenplays, live streaming channel, and more!
I have had the goal of pursuing Filmmaking ever since young therefore I have always produced small films and have always been searching for new ways of producing something different, I believe this thrive has helped me to gain interest and some experience in the art of Filmmaking. Furthermore, I have always really enjoyed making up new stories and writing them which has helped me learn how to craft a story that truly hits an audience.
My university years have taught me a multitude of both practical and theoretical skills. I have been able to experience multiple positions in producing short films such as Audio Recordist, Camera Operator, Editor, Writer, Director, and Producer.
I have also learned how to structure professional reports and how to work in a film-related environment.
However, my experience goes beyond my academic work, as I've developed a plethora of media projects, in the form of Short Films, Video Essays, Reviewing podcast, Live Show and more. And with it gained experience in a variety of practical subjects and online software.
More recently I have been working with Unity & Motion as an Editing Intern and executing a variety of video, image, and audio work. And I have also worked as a Covid Supervisor for an upcoming short film with a different employer.
Overall I believe to have decent experience in both the areas of Video and Sound however with a thrive to create and manage a team to reach a common goal, and I am always looking to learn more.
